Marine Environmental Policy and Compliance: Regulatory Challenges and Potential Role of AI-Driven Solutions
Maastricht, 28 March 2025
Our sensemaking workshop is focused on marine environmental policy, anthropogenic pollution, and biodiversity loss. Our objective is to gain insights from domain experts on the current challenges related to legal compliance in these areas, allowing us to explore potential AI-driven solutions, such as developing semi-automated compliance checking systems.
The event will be structured around thematic panels, with short presentations by some participants (5-10 min) followed by roundtable discussions. The focus is not on presentations themselves but ensuring an interactive and collaborative environment.
